The customer aimed to create a product for telecom operators that would streamline and accelerate network deployment processes, making them simpler, faster, more efficient, and reliable. They had properly developed functional requirements but lacked developers with the required combination of skills and hands-on experience with full‑stack product development.   • End-to-end monitoring of equipment installation and operation, providing full information on operational parameters in all aspects (parameter descriptions, documentation, etc.) to give users complete visibility into the entire equipment lifecycle
  • Data visualization across different regions, displaying various components and specific aspects of the equipment (expired, rejected, etc.) with the option of hiding certain components - it helps users make more informed decisions, identify problem zones faster, and streamline regional performance monitoring
  • Data import and export to streamline data handling time and improve data accuracy
  • Dynamic project configuration, allowing users to define milestones, activities, and workflows tailored to specific project types
  • Role-based access control to enhance security and reduce the risk of unauthorized actions

Enhancements & support

Itransition's team continued supporting the solution further, assisting with app customizations, including changes in the existing functionality and development of new features, required for each end-client, depending on their specific needs, as well as other enhancements. With time, we also reviewed the application’s structure and user flows and proposed targeted enhancements to further improve usability.

Key improvements included:

  • Main screen redesign
    Considering user convenience, we created a detailed preview of information about all the equipment displayed as a list on the main screen. We also implemented components that display vendor technical parameters for a specific item, as well as its general statistics. This way users don’t need to open additional tabs as they did before, so they spend significantly less time studying the necessary information in one place.
  • Custom sorting components on the equipment details page
    Our team implemented flexible sorting logic that allows each user to prioritize and arrange page components based on their relevance, ensuring that the most important information is displayed at the top of the page.
  • Streamlined milestone & activity completion
    We introduced the functionality that allows for the automatic analysis of all the mandatory steps and detection of the missing ones (e.g., adding parameters, files, etc.). In case any step is missing, the system notifies a user, opens the relevant component in a modal window, and indicates the required updates.
  • User metrics dashboard
    We developed a dedicated dashboard providing insights into user activity and visitor statistics. It includes easy-to-read visuals showing the number of unique users per week, month, and quarter, enabling quick detection and interpretation of usage trends.
  • Configurable milestones & activities
    We enabled dynamic configuration of milestones and activities at the project level based on project type and settings. For example, users can define stages, such as design, construction, and commissioning, and assign relevant activities (e.g., drawing development, approval by technical specialists). Different clients can set up their own configurations and track the completion of their tasks. The system also maintains detailed logs, allowing clients to track task ownership, monitor updates, and access related documentation
