About Ilya

Ilya entered the IT industry/joined Itransition in 2011 as a developer and within several years moved up to the solutions architect position. Since 2018, he has focused on designing and delivering AI and machine learning-driven solutions. He plays a key role in Itransition’s AI projects, closely cooperating with our clients from the very start to create AI solution concepts aligned with their business strategy, needs, and requirements. Ilya also selects appropriate AI models, technologies, and frameworks for bringing the software solution to life, elaborates an underlying infrastructure for its efficient hosting, and shapes the data strategy for efficient model training and business decision-making. 

Throughout AI projects, Ilya the development and integration of AI solutions, providing technical leadership to engineering teams. He is also responsible for ensuring the scalability, security, and maintainability of AI solutions throughout their development and post-implementation.

Examples of Ilya’s recent projects include the following:

  • Development of an AI virtual consultant featuring an LLM and a rule-based engine to provide personalized recommendations to customers
  • Creation of an AI chatbot assistant that retrieves real-time insights on client relationships from an external knowledge base, offering personalized, accurate updates
  • Development of an ML-powered advertising platform for automated product recognition in videos 
  • Creation of a trading platform bot embedded in a cryptocurrency trading platform that allows users to create AI-based strategies verified and retrained on historical data

Ilya constantly keeps track of the latest advancements in AI/ML technologies to incorporate them into the client’s projects for improved solutions performance and competitiveness. He also regularly contributes to the insights we publish at our website and external media outlets.
