Senior Data Engineer
Description
We are looking for a Senior Data Engineer to join our team and help build a reliable, scalable, and high-performing data platform. In this hands-on individual contributor role, you will establish best practices for data quality, testing, monitoring, and platform reliability while contributing to the development of modern data solutions that support analytics and business decision-making.

Requirements
- 5+ years of experience as a Data Engineer or in a similar role.
- Advanced SQL skills with experience designing and optimizing analytical data models.
- Strong Python programming skills for data engineering and automation.
- Hands-on experience with Snowflake.
- Experience with dbt for data transformation and testing.
- Experience building data quality, validation, and testing frameworks.
- Experience implementing automated monitoring and alerting for data platforms.
- Experience integrating data testing into CI/CD pipelines using GitHub or similar tools.
- Experience with workflow orchestration tools such as Dagster, Airflow, or similar.
- Understanding of Infrastructure as Code (IaC) principles and tools such as Terraform.
- Experience working with modern cloud-based data platforms.
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
- English proficiency sufficient to work in an international environment.
Nice to have
- Experience defining data governance and data quality standards.
- Experience improving platform performance, scalability, and cost optimization.
- Knowledge of data observability practices and monitoring tools.
- Experience supporting analytics platforms and data products.
- Experience working in Agile development teams.
Responsibilities
- Design and implement data quality, validation, and integrity frameworks across the data platform.
- Develop and optimize analytical data models in Snowflake.
- Build and maintain data pipelines using Python and SQL.
- Implement automated testing, monitoring, and alerting for data pipelines and transformations.
- Integrate data quality checks into CI/CD workflows using GitHub and dbt.
- Configure and maintain data orchestration workflows using Dagster.
- Define and implement data quality standards, testing strategies, and operational best practices.
- Improve platform reliability, scalability, performance, and cost efficiency.
- Collaborate with analytics, product, and engineering teams to deliver high-quality data solutions.
- Contribute to the continuous evolution of the organization's data platform.
