Middle/Senior Data Engineer (Microsoft Fabric)
Description
We are looking for an experienced Data Engineer for the growing BI solution in the real estate industry. You will be involved in the design and development of complex BI applications, creating efficient and performant data pipelines grounded in strong data modeling. This is an opportunity to join a strong development team utilizing the latest set of progressive technologies, including Microsoft Fabric, for an expanding global intelligence business as well as investigating new technologies such as AI and ML to enhance the platforms and services that we offer our customers.

Requirements
- 3+ years of commercial Data Engineer experience
- Strong knowledge of SQL
- Experience in ETL/ELT processes design, development, and maintenance
- Experience in DWH modeling and Data Mart design
- Hands-on experience with Microsoft Fabric (Lakehouse, Fabric Warehouse, Data Pipelines, Notebooks)
- Experience with ETL/Orchestration tools (MS Fabric Data Factory /Azure Data Factory - preferred, SSIS, Apache Airflow, AWS Glue, Talend, etc.)
- Experience with at least one RDBMS (Microsoft SQL Server, MySQL, PostgreSQL, Oracle, DB2)
- Experience in OLAP/OLTP queries performance tuning
- Experience working with cloud platforms (Azure preferred)
- Experience with at least one VCS (Git, SVN, etc.)
- Experience with programming languages (PySpark, Python)
- Experience working in an Agile/Scrum development process
- Upper-Intermediate or above level of English
Nice to have
- Experience with Databricks
- Experience with BI visualization tools (e.g. Power BI, SSRS, Tableau, or Qlik)
- Experience with NoSQL databases (Mongo, Cassandra, etc.)
- Understanding of DevOps practices and CI/CD pipeline concepts, including working with YAML-based pipeline definitions
- Experience with unit and integration testing
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with product managers and fellow engineers to help define and implement innovative data deliverables
- Build complex ETL pipelines
- Support data flows effectively
- Improve system’s performance and maintainability, optimize SQL queries
- Follow and promote data best practices and standards
