Junior Data Engineer (Microsoft Fabric)
Description
We are looking for a Data Engineer to join our team and work on a growing BI solution for the real estate industry. You will be part of a mature and experienced development team, working on modern data solutions built with Microsoft Fabric and other technologies. We approach Data Engineering with strong software development practices in mind and well-defined development standards. In this role, you will contribute to the development and maintenance of data pipelines, data models, and BI solutions, while working closely with experienced engineers and continuously developing your Data Engineering skills. The role is a good opportunity for someone who has strong SQL skills, some experience with Microsoft Fabric, and wants to further develop their skills in Data Engineering and cloud technologies.

Requirements
- Good knowledge of SQL
- Familiarity with Microsoft Fabric, especially Warehouse, Data Pipelines, Lakehouse, and Notebooks
- Basic understanding of ETL/ELT processes
- Basic knowledge of relational databases (Microsoft SQL Server preferred; PostgreSQL, MySQL, Oracle, or similar)
- Familiarity with Git or another version control system
- Willingness to learn and develop in the Data Engineering area
- Upper-Intermediate or higher level of English
Nice to have
- Understanding of data warehouse concepts, including DWH modeling and Data Mart design
- Knowledge of Python and PySpark
- Hands-on experience with Microsoft Fabric
- Understanding of DevOps practices and CI/CD concepts
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain data pipelines and data transformations
- Work with SQL queries and relational data sources
- Work with Microsoft Fabric components, including Warehouse, Data Pipelines, Lakehouse, and Notebooks
- Contribute to the development and maintenance of data models and BI solutions
- Investigate and resolve data-related issues
- Collaborate with other engineers and team members on the development of data solutions
- Follow established development practices, coding standards, and team processes
