Dynamics 365 Senior CE Solution Architect
Description
We are looking for a Senior Dynamics 365 CE Solution Architect to help our clients turn business challenges into scalable, well-designed Microsoft solutions. You will be involved throughout the engagement lifecycle - from early discovery and solution advisory during pre-sales through solution design and the initial stages of project delivery. You will work closely with business stakeholders to understand their goals and processes, challenge requirements where appropriate, and translate business needs into a coherent Dynamics 365 and Power Platform solution. At the same time, you will be responsible for the technical direction of the solution, working with functional consultants, developers, integration specialists, and other technical stakeholders to ensure that the proposed architecture is scalable, maintainable, secure, and aligned with Microsoft best practices. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys both sides of solution architecture: talking to the business and making the right technical decisions.

Requirements
- 7+ years of experience in Microsoft Dynamics 365 / CRM, Power Platform, solution architecture, or a related area
- Strong hands-on experience designing Dynamics 365 CE solutions
- Strong understanding of Dataverse and the Microsoft Power Platform
- Experience designing integrations between Dynamics 365 and external systems
- Good understanding of APIs, Azure services, authentication, data architecture, security, and application lifecycle management
- Experience working with multiple Dynamics 365 CE applications, such as Sales, Customer Service, Field Service, or Customer Insights
- Experience leading technical discovery and solution design workshops
- Strong understanding of Dynamics 365 configuration, customization, extensions, and the boundaries between out-of-the-box functionality and custom development
- Ability to communicate complex technical concepts clearly to non-technical stakeholders
- Strong consulting and stakeholder-management skills
- Experience working closely with developers, Functional Consultants, Project Managers, and other technical specialists
- Ability to make pragmatic architectural decisions and explain the reasoning behind them
- Excellent English communication skills
Nice to have
- Experience with Azure Integration Services, Azure Functions, Logic Apps, Service Bus, API Management, or similar technologies
- Experience with Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI, and other Power Platform components
- Experience with CI/CD, Azure DevOps, environment strategy, and ALM for Power Platform
- Experience with enterprise-scale Dynamics 365 implementations and complex integrations
- Experience participating in pre-sales and helping shape opportunities into implementable solutions
- Microsoft certification in Power Platform Solution Architecture, Dynamics 365 Functional Consulting, Solution Architecture, or related areas
Responsibilities
- Lead solution discovery and architecture discussions with clients and internal stakeholders
- Understand business objectives, processes, pain points, and requirements and translate them into solution concepts
- Challenge requirements and propose alternative approaches where they can deliver better business or technical outcomes
- Design end-to-end solutions based on Dynamics 365 CE and Microsoft Power Platform
- Define the overall application and integration architecture, including Dynamics 365, Dataverse, Power Platform, Azure, and external systems
- Define integration approaches, APIs, data flows, authentication, and system boundaries
- Make architectural decisions and document key design principles, assumptions, and trade-offs
- Work with Functional Consultants to translate business requirements into a coherent solution architecture
- Provide technical direction to developers and review proposed implementation approaches
- Support pre-sales activities, including discovery sessions, solution presentations, technical workshops, demonstrations, estimates, and proposals
- Prepare and present solution architecture documents and technical recommendations to both business and technical audiences
- Support the transition from opportunity to delivery and remain involved during the initial stages of implementation
- Identify technical risks, dependencies, limitations, and opportunities early in the engagement
- Ensure that solutions follow Microsoft and Dynamics 365 best practices and are designed for long-term maintainability
- Contribute to the development of reusable architecture patterns, accelerators, and best practices within the Dynamics 365 CE practice
