Automation Engineer (UiPath)
Description
Join the AI automation team of a leading global insurance group, providing property, casualty, and life insurance solutions. The role involves designing and implementing automation solutions for the insurance domain on the UiPath platform — both classic RPA and Agentic automation — including attended/unattended robots, orchestrated business processes, and decision-making workflows integrated with APIs, databases, and external systems. It also includes building and optimizing document- and communication-processing pipelines using UiPath Document Understanding / IXP and Communications Mining to deliver scalable, resilient, and maintainable solutions.

Requirements
- Strong hands-on experience with UiPath Studio (workflow design, REFramework, reusable components, Coded Workflows)
- Proficiency in C#
- Experience with UiPath Orchestrator (queues, assets, triggers, robots, environments, deployment and governance)
- Experience with UiPath Data Fabric / Integration Service
- Ability to integrate automations with APIs, databases, and external systems (REST/SOAP, SQL, authentication flows)
- Solid error handling, logging, exception management, and transaction/retry design for production-grade robots
- Understanding of automation limitations and tradeoffs (selector fragility, maintenance overhead, attended vs. unattended, when to automate vs. re-engineer the process)
- Experience designing and deploying end-to-end automations to production with a proven business outcome
- Experience creating custom activities / reusable libraries and integrating third-party services
- Familiarity with testing, monitoring, and observability of automation workflows
- Fluent English
Nice to have
- Hands-on experience with UiPath Agentic automation (Maestro, Agents, Autopilot)
- Experience with UiPath Action Center (human-in-the-loop tasks, approvals, task routing)
- Experience with UiPath Apps (building custom app interfaces on top of automations)
- Experience with UiPath Communications Mining and/or Document Understanding / IXP — taxonomy design, model training, extraction tuning
