Chief Accountant

As a Chief Accountant, you will be providing the highest level of accounting service, will be responsible for the preparation of the statutory financial statements and the controlling of fulfillment of all tax obligations correctly and on time. We are looking for a professional with good practical knowledge of polish accounting (taxes, statutory, reporting, payroll) and the ability to work independently. Job Description: - Providing full accounting cycle for polish entity according to PAS - Calculating and preparing tax declarations (VAT, CIT, WHT etc.) - Preparing full financial statements (P&L, BS, CF etc.) according to PAS - Cooperation with the General departments: Head of Accounting and Reporting, Tax Department, Treasury Department - Controlling over payroll area - permanent / B2B contractors, fringe benefits, expenses - Cooperating with external financial and supervisory institutions (National Bank of Poland, Tax authorities, Social Insurance Institutions, Central Statistical Office) - Intercompany reconciliations - Conducting and controlling of settlements with banks, suppliers, recipients, other contractors and provisions - Managing and coordinating the annual external audit process and tax inspections
