Censer-Education is a dedicated provider of instructor-moderated training delivered in a virtual classroom environment. CECAM portal was developed to bring together providers of instructor-moderated training and their customers. The system offers portal functionality and an effective way to promote training events. To successfully maintain and develop a series of regular workshops and tutorials in different fields Censer-Education needed a professional application system. Itransition created the system that incorporated most management activities, course registration, final testing and payment procedures.
CECAM portal is the e-learning system with unique administrative features. The system provides two levels of sales support.
At the first level a learner enrolls for the course and the system notifies the course provider. The provider contacts the learner for a follow-up.
At the second level system provides an online payment process for enrolments via the site. This option is also available for alliance partners.
The system is based on PHP and MySQL technologies. Also, the portal is integrated with World Pay processing company with SSL implementation for secure payment transactions.
The system incorporates:
- ordering management;
- payment system integration;
- customer tools and services, sales analysis and site tracking;
- dynamic creation and administration of content.
Technologies used: MySQL, Apache server, SSL, HTTP, SMTP, XML.
