Expense Management System Banking and Finance; By Platform; Java Enterprise; By Solution The project involved redesigning a Delphi-based application for a French software house. The legacy application had serious performance and scalability drawbacks, as well as lacked web access and functionality. Itransition analyzed the legacy application, created complete documentation set describing the architecture of the application. The proposed application addressed all the problematic issues and requirements of the customer; it was based on modular structure and had the following features:
The application represents tree-tier architecture with presentation based on the JSP technology and Sessions EJB as business logic components; we also developed our own Persistence level that can easily support different Databases. Also, several special general features, such as ad hoc reporting, were developed during the project. Technologies and Tools Used: J2EE, HTML /DHTML, XML, XSLT, MS SQL Server 2000, Oracle 9i, Oracle 8i, Bea WebLogic, Oracle Application Server, MS Project Server 2001. Efforts: 200 man-months The idea of the project was to re-develop the existing expense management system for a French company. |
