The Customer – a global media hosting provider from the USA needed software to manage their huge media metadata. They contacted Itransition with a request to implement a platform for building media content sites, that would provide streaming network and creating many different media content sites.

The goal of the project was to develop a stable, fast web application which supports a wide range of web browsers and media players. Itransition was able to meet and exceed the customer’s expectations by using innovative open-source high quality audio formats (FLAC (Free Lossless Audio Codec), OGG (Ogg Vorbis)), to provide the outstanding quality for bandwidth music using real-time streaming/ download.

Fantasy sports movement is now very popular among sports fans all over the world and now becoming one of the top online entertainments. The idea of the project is to revolutionize fantasy sports by bringing auction drafting to the mainstream. So far in most of the games and leagues fantasy rosters are filled by means of snake draft that seems to be slow, unimaginative, and boring. Fantasy Sports Auctioneer offers auction drafting as more exciting and dynamic process.

Itransition developed a home entertainment center based on “barebone” minicomputer connected to TV. The software provides users with a wide range of multimedia functions, which are accessed by simple button push on their TV remote control. During the project our Itransition software specialists developed customized Linux distribution, targeted at multiple multimedia functions support. Media center box can be connected to a local home network.
