Itransition developed an online “Oil and Gas Magazine” for Eurasia Press, Inc. from scratch. The magazine is a scalable bilingual web application for publishing online materials. It has several functional modules for content management, such as news, press release, newsletter management, interviews, partners, and much more.
At the end of 2006 Itransition won a tender for developing an online “Oil and Gas Magazine” for Eurasia Press, Inc. The Customer had already had an online version which was outdated and needed a replacement to it. The Customer is a prominent online periodical dedicated to events in gas and oil industry of European and Asian continents. Being updated every day, the magazine operates with a huge amount of information.
The solution has an advanced Content Management System (CMS) that allows adding, editing and deleting content. It consists of several modules. Some of them allow managing all editorial and publishing activities (Issues and Articles Module, Press Releases Module, News Module, Newsletters Module for Groups, Featured Interviews Module).
Other modules are responsible for communication with partners and readers (Industry Players Module, Partners List Module, Ongoing Projects Module, Events Module, Orders and Subscriptions Module, Surveys Module).
Besides these modules, the site supports glossary search and text search in news and articles. It is integrated with a PHPBB forum for commenting possibility.
