The customer is a major communication software producer who needed remote testing of his current phone communication monitoring system before transferring it from the PSTN technology to VoIP.

Our customer's idea was to create a united system that would assist managing insolvency process: the system should, from one hand, assist new owners to manage the assets and personnel of the insolvent companies as well as, from other, to organize web auctions on insolvent companies' assets. The project was developed for a German customer. BE.N UNITY web application provides major services an insolvency manager or company may need.

Online eSourcing system, the core product of our customer, needed prompt investigation, analysis and implementation, otherwise it jeopardized the customer's investments. The initial customer request was to recover application source code and then perform functional development on top of this. Any possibility to develop the product was completely blocked due to missing application sources. As a result, the customer received the initial product version, with a possibility to plan the crucial product improvements required by end-users. Phase two resulted in product release that was vital for the customer to exist since business activities were fully dependent on the product and could not be delivered without it.

Embedded Linux distribution for PC104 industrial computers is a made-from-scratch, highly customized software solution targeted for any PC104/PC104+ form-factor compatible hardware such as Advantech PCM 5820, Advantech PCM 3350, Advantech 3370. The operating system runs from 64Mb Compact Flash and has minimized footprint of 8Mb, which is impossible in generic Linux distribution. Such minimization was achieved by using a special compressed filesystem for bootable image of Linux OS. Despite small image size embedded linux distribution provides rich functionality for embedded software developer.
